Eren Barker is a program coordinator in the St. Luke’s Department of Employee Safety and Well-being. She currently collaborates on wellness program creation, production, and coordination for the health system as well as oversees program implementation in the Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, and Fruitland hospitals and clinics. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, a master’s degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida, and is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She has worked full-time the past seven years in various avenues of health promotion and healthcare including: sports medicine, fitness, research, and most recently, employee wellness. She has a passion for health and fitness and trusts that positive workplace culture is derived from engaging, supporting and empowering employees.
