Lance Johnson, Safety and Traffic Program Manager, Federal Highway Administration Lance has over 28 years of experience working for city, state and federal agencies in the water, power and transportation fields with an emphasis in traffic operations and highway safety. He spent the last thirteen years with the Federal Highway Administration managing the Idaho federal program in the areas of highway safety, traffic operations, highway-rail crossing safety, MUTCD, intelligent transportation systems, traffic incident management, emergency management and work zone safety and mobility. Lance has 3 children and 5 grandkids. He enjoys cycling, hiking and backpacking-especially with the grandkids. Lance is a registered professional engineer in Idaho.
