Stephanie has been working in the field of ergonomics/human factors engineering for nearly 20 years. She is a board certified professional ergonomist (CPE) and a licensed and nationally certified Occupational Therapist. She received a BS in Human Factors Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy in 1991 and completed a MS in HFE from Wright State University in 1995. She practiced as a HFE in the Air Force for 5 years. After leaving the military, she earned a degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of New Mexico. She has consulted with numerous companies on ergonomics issues involving both manufacturing and office environments and she practiced as an OT for 5+ years. She worked as a consultant for Micron Technology from 2000 to 2007 and she currently contracts as an ergonomic engineer for Micron.
